Vectorcontrol and Santa Clara launch bioinsecticide in Brazil

Tarik EC, a bioinsecticide produced through Bacillus thuringiensis (variety kurstaki) has been launched in Brazil. The product is the result of a partnership between Santa Clara Agrociência and Vectorcontrol. As well as its low toxicity and excellent residual action, the bioinsectide is selective and so it does not harm beneficial insects.

The bioinsecticide is recommended for use in controlling citrus fruit borer (Ecdytolopha aurantiana) on citrus, corn earworm (Helicoverpa zea) on tomatoes, geometrid moth (Thyrinteina arnobia) and diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) on cabbage.
